The Hello Beautiful Foundation is committed to providing support, education, and enhancing the quality of life for Glioblastoma patients and their families.
THBF is committed to provide financial assistance to support patients and their caregivers who are effected by the ravages of Glioblastoma Multiforme. Some of these tools for support include RX Hope, helping people in need to obtain critical medications not covered by health insurance.
The Hello Beautiful Foundation was created to honor the legacy of Greg Pepe. An extraordinary man, partner, son, brother, artist, and friend, Greg greeted people by saying “Hello Beautiful”. Greg is one of thousands we’ve lost to Glioblastoma – through The Hello Beautiful Foundation his light and love continues to shine.
MESSAGE FROM FOUNDER
Greg lived his life based in gratitude, embracing people. People often asked how he had the energy and time to give so much time and energy to so many; simple answer is he loved hard and deep and was committed to helping others. Whether it was related to his sober life, artistic life, professional life, or personal life, he loved without limits and gave unwavering support without judgement. His greatest joy was taking the time to let everyone who crossed his path know just how special they were; even if they didn’t believe it.
In June 2016, we were in Iceland, a photographer’s dream. The abundant natural beauty, which normally would have entranced Greg, was suddenly of no interest. His personality was ‘flat’ and he had little curiosity, contrary to his normal behavior. Six weeks later we found ourselves in the emergency room which was the start of our journey with GBM. We are so grateful for all of the care we received from the medical community, family, and friends. While we were blessed to have the love, support, and resources to address the road ahead of us, we know many other patients and their caregivers do not benefit from the same backing. It is the goal of the THBF to provide that support.
